a haven of tranquility

i was met at the train station upon arrival which was prearranged the riad staff escorted me into the medina i received a warm welcome the riad was cool light and spacious the environment instantly felt peaceful after mint tea i toured the riad and was shown to my room. the rooftop terrace included loungers i was able to unwind after exploring the medina breakfast included breads fruit coffee juice and eggs abdul provided excellent service i found nothing was too much trouble.

during my stay i noticed the towels looked quite old and worn i thought the room could benefit from a deep cleaning performed by a specialized company to ensure a higher level of cleanliness. the coffee machine and cups lacked a designated tray and were placed directly on the refrigerator. i felt the roof needed cleaning to improve overall maintenance.

abdul and ahmed supported every need throughout my time recommendations early breakfast and taxis were immediately available and helpful. other staff members including aisha karima and faachi were lovely patient and helpful which contributed to a relaxed and characterful stay.

the staff was very helpful advising on places to visit. they also arranged quad biking for us. breakfast was great each day. it was served on the roof.

the riad needs some updating in certain areas, like the gym equipment.
